Preparing for the Season

Plot

As the drier months are creeping in, now is the time to be clearing your plot of dried leaves and any debris left from the Winter months.

Leaves and garden waste can be disposed of in our onsite bins near the entrance to the Park. Please ensure this is all compact in black bin bags.

Cutting your grass is essential to keeping your plot nice and tidy.

Boiler

Please check your Boiler Manufacturers Instruction manual for service requirements.

  Cleaning

Lets start off the new season with a clean environment!

The winter months may have left the outside of Holiday Homes and Touring caravans weathered.

A good spring clean and freshen up inside and out will set you off right for the 2024 season!

This includes the clearing of your guttering to ensure free water flow.

If you have a shed, please ensure that this is kept clean aswell.

Getting your water back to your Holiday Home

If you have had a Draindown with us, you may be wondering what you have to do when you come back onsite.

( The water on the Park will start to be reconnected a couple of weeks before 1st April.)

It's simple!

1. Ensure your taps, showers ect are all off (including the outside tap).

2. Go to the offside of the Holiday Home, and turn the on/off valve to "On", or turn the tap on. (Please see photos attached)

3. Go back inside and gently open the taps to release the water.

4. Run for 30 seconds or until the water is running freely.

We hope this blog helps, please feel free to call Reception on 01908 563360 for anymore information you may need!

You are now ready for the season!
